At Beyond Gyne Health (BGH), our mission has always been to provide thoughtful, personalized, and accessible care for every patient. As healthcare becomes increasingly complex and time-constrained, we continue to look for new ways to better support you — especially during the important stages of your health journey.
Over the past several years, Beyond Gyne Health has expanded our clinical services to provide a more comprehensive, integrated approach to women’s healthcare. Today, our patients have access, in addition to traditional gynecological care, to specialized care in perimenopause and menopause management, sexual health, pelvic floor physical therapy, weight management, behavioral health, and onsite ancillary services such as laboratory testing, ultrasound imaging, DXA scans, and body composition analysis. As we continue to grow and innovate, we remain deeply committed to delivering exceptional, whole-woman care.
BGH believes obstetric care is a key component of comprehensive women’s healthcare, and we intend to reintroduce obstetric services into the practice. Our doctors are exploring several ways to make this possible, and we will share additional information as we make progress and get a better sense for timing.
We are excited to share the next step in that commitment. Beginning in October 2026, Beyond Gyne Health will transition to a membership-based practice model designed to enhance patient access, strengthen care coordination, and provide an even more personalized healthcare experience.
The Beyond Gyne Health Membership Program is designed to support enhanced patient access, improved care coordination, and greater personalized healthcare. The annual membership fee allows our providers and care teams to offer important non-billable services that are not reimbursed by commercial or government insurance plans.
These enhanced services include:
As part of the membership program’s initial offering, every BGH patient will have the opportunity to receive one complimentary Styku body analysis. This fast, non-invasive body composition assessment uses a 3D scan to measure body shape, circumferences, body fat percentage, and lean mass.
The annual membership fee is $225 per patient. Patients younger than 26 years old will be charged $125 per patient. For your convenience, payment options will include annual, quarterly, or monthly installments.
As a thank you for enrolling early, we are pleased to offer a 15% early-enrollment discount for patients who enroll on or Lake Forest, IL 60045 before Monday, September 7, 2026. Additional enrollment details, payment options, and answers to frequently asked questions are available in the accompanying FAQ document.
The membership fee covers non-billable services and enhanced support services that are not traditionally reimbursed by insurance. Medical visits, procedures, imaging, laboratory testing, prescriptions, and other covered clinical services will continue to be billed through your healthcare insurance plan. Patients will remain responsible for applicable copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and any other cost-sharing requirements under their insurance policy. It is important to note that membership is not healthcare insurance. You will still need to maintain your own healthcare insurance.
The membership fee does not include services traditionally billed to insurance, including:
Patients are still expected to maintain active health insurance coverage for medically necessary care.
Yes. Membership will be required for patients receiving ongoing care through Beyond Gyne Health, with limited exceptions for patients who receive care exclusively for sexual health services and do not utilize other Beyond Gyne Health clinical services.
We understand that this model may not be the right fit for every patient. If you decide not to participate in the membership program, Beyond Gyne Health will continue caring for you through December 31, 2026, allowing adequate time for the transition of your care. After that time, patients who do not enroll in the membership program will no longer be active patients of the practice. Our team will gladly assist with transferring your medical records and helping identify another qualified healthcare provider to ensure continuity of care.
With our gratitude,
Dr. Heather Heiberger, Dr. Elizabeth Oh, Dr. Maureen Tart, and the Beyond Gyne Health Team

Beyond Gyne Health has expanded its clinical offerings to provide a more comprehensive, integrated approach to women’s healthcare. In addition to traditional gynecology services, the practice now offers specialized care in perimenopause and menopause management, sexual health, pelvic floor physical therapy, weight management, and behavioral health. Patients also benefit from convenient onsite ancillary services, including laboratory testing, ultrasound imaging, DXA scans, and body composition analysis. Looking ahead, the practice plans to reintroduce obstetric care and continue expanding services to support a truly comprehensive, whole-person women’s health model.
The membership program was created to support a higher level of personalized, coordinated care for Beyond Gyne Health patients. In today’s increasingly fragmented healthcare system, patients often face challenges navigating care, accessing providers, and coordinating services. The membership model allows BGH to provide enhanced access, improved care coordination, personalized support, and educational resources that help patients achieve better long-term health outcomes.
Beyond Gyne Health is introducing the annual membership fee to fund the substantial amount of work the practice performs that traditional medical insurance simply doesn't pay for. Insurance reimburses the care itself — the office visit, the procedure, the diagnostic test. It was never designed to cover everything else a modern practice does to support patients between those billable encounters.
The membership fee is what makes that other work possible. It funds enhanced access to providers, care coordination, prior authorization support, patient communication, educational programming, and the technology and staff time that go into keeping patients informed and cared for outside of a billable visit. None of this is reimbursed by commercial or government insurance — without the membership fee, the practice would either have to absorb these costs or stop offering them altogether.
In short: insurance pays for the care delivered; the membership fee pays for everything Beyond Gyne Health does around that care to make it more accessible, coordinated, and patient-centered.
One membership covers everything. The Beyond Gyne Health membership is a single practice-wide membership that provides access to all of the services offered by the practice. Whether you receive gynecologic care, menopause management, pelvic floor physical therapy, sexual health services, weight management, behavioral health, or other services available through Beyond Gyne Health, only one membership is required.
Urgent clinical concerns are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. When you contact Beyond Gyne Health with an urgent medical concern, one of our experienced nurses will assess your clinical situation, determine the level of urgency, and recommend the most appropriate next step. Depending on your needs, this may include a same-day or next-day appointment, guidance for home care, or referral to an emergency department or urgent care center if a higher level of care is needed.
Yes. Membership is required for all patients receiving ongoing care through Beyond Gyne Health, with limited exceptions outlined below.
The membership program is anticipated to launch in October 2026.
No. The membership fee covers non-billable services that are not traditionally reimbursed by health insurance. Medical visits, procedures, laboratory testing, imaging, and other covered clinical services will continue to be billed through your insurance plan.
Yes. Patients who are referred from a cancer center or a local gynecologist and who receive care exclusively for sexual health services and who do not utilize any other Beyond Gyne Health clinical services will not be required to pay the annual membership fee. However, if these patients choose to receive any additional Beyond Gyne Health services beyond sexual health, they will be required to enroll in the annual membership program and pay the annual membership fee.
No. Beyond Gyne Health is not a concierge practice. Our new membership model is designed to enhance access to and expand the services available through our practice—it is not a concierge medicine model. Concierge practices typically require patients to pay a substantial annual fee in exchange for direct access to their physician by phone or text, have significantly smaller patient panels, and other services that go beyond traditional medical care. Our membership model is different. Your annual membership fee provides access to additional benefits and services designed to support your overall health and wellness, while you continue to receive care through our traditional insurance-based practice. The membership does not replace insurance, and you are not paying for unlimited or exclusive access to your physician.
We created this model to allow us to continue providing exceptional, personalized care while expanding the resources, services, and support available to our patients. Our goal is to give you more opportunities to access the comprehensive, whole-woman care you need—without the cost or structure of a concierge practice.
The annual membership fee is $225 per year for most patients. Women 25 years old and younger are eligible for a reduced annual membership fee of $125 per year.
For added convenience and flexibility, patients may choose to pay annually, quarterly, or monthly based on their personal preference. You will have the option to keep your credit card on file so that it can be charged automatically.
Patients will continue to be responsible for standard healthcare expenses, including insurance copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and any services not covered by their insurance plan. However, Beyond Gyne Health does not charge additional membership-related fees beyond the annual membership cost.
Patients should consult their FSA or HSA plan administrator or tax advisor regarding eligibility, as coverage rules may vary depending on the plan.
No. The annual membership fee is not covered by insurance because it supports non-billable services that are outside traditional insurance reimbursement models.
The membership fee is an additional cost. The Beyond Gyne Health membership fee does not replace your insurance copays, deductibles, or coinsurance. Medical visits, procedures, laboratory testing, imaging, and other covered clinical services will continue to be billed through your insurance plan in accordance with your benefits. The membership fee supports the enhanced, non-billable services and benefits that are available to members throughout the year.
All adult members of a household are required to pay the standard annual membership fee of $225. Patients age 25 and younger are eligible for a reduced annual membership fee of $125. There are no family discounts.
Each patient has their own membership. Although your daughter is covered under your health insurance plan, the Beyond Gyne Health membership is individual and cannot be shared or transferred. Because she is under 26 years old, she qualifies for the reduced annual membership fee of $125. Her membership is separate from yours and must be enrolled in and paid independently.
Beyond Gyne Health is committed to ensuring patients have access to high-quality care. Patients experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to speak with the practice directly to discuss available options and resources.
Patients who choose the monthly payment option will pay $18.75 per month ($225 annually divided into 12 monthly payments). Women 25 years old and younger who qualify for the reduced membership fee will pay $10.42 per month ($125 annually divided into 12 monthly payments).
The first monthly payment is due on or before October 1, 2026. As an introductory offer, patients who enroll and make their first payment on or before September 7, 2026 will receive a 15% discount on their first year of membership.
Yes. Your Beyond Gyne Health membership will automatically renew each year to ensure uninterrupted access to the enhanced services and benefits included in the membership program. Before your annual renewal is processed, Beyond Gyne Health will send you a reminder with your upcoming renewal date and payment information, so you have advance notice before your card is charged.
Yes. If a payment is unsuccessful, Beyond Gyne Health will notify you and work with you to resolve the issue. The practice understands that payment issues can occur from time to time and will provide a reasonable opportunity to update your payment information before taking any action regarding your membership.
Yes. All patients who receive ongoing care through Beyond Gyne Health are required to participate in the membership program, regardless of how often they visit the practice. The membership fee supports many valuable services that occur outside of office visits, including enhanced access to providers, care coordination, patient communication, prior authorization support, and educational resources. These services are available to all members throughout the year, even if you only come to the office for your annual exam.
No. Your membership begins on the date you enroll in the Beyond Gyne Health membership program, and your annual renewal date will be one year from that date. Because each patient's membership year is based on their individual enrollment date, the membership fee is not prorated. New patients will pay the membership fee before their first visit.
All current BGH patients will be expected to enroll in the membership by October 1st, 2026. If you do not enroll by October 1st, 2026, you will be expected to pay the full fee the next time you schedule an appointment with the practice.
Yes. Beyond Gyne Health partners with a reputable third-party payment processor that uses industry-standard security measures to protect your payment information. The practice does not store your complete payment information, and all payment transactions are processed through secure, encrypted systems designed to safeguard your personal and financial data.
The membership program supports enhanced access to care and a more comprehensive patient experience. While clinical and ancillary medical services continue to be billed through insurance, the membership fee includes valuable non-billable services such as same-day or next-day urgent appointments, care coordination, patient messaging, provider communication, and educational programs designed to support overall wellness and long-term health outcomes.
Yes. Annual wellness exams and preventive visits continue to be covered and billed through your healthcare insurance plan according to your benefits.

Yes. Membership fees may be partially refunded on a prorated basis if a patient relocates more than 25 miles from their primary site of care or if an insurance change results in Beyond Gyne Health no longer being considered in-network.
Membership fees are generally non-refundable. Beyond Gyne Health offers prorated refunds only under limited circumstances. If you move more than 25 miles from the practice or if your health insurance plan changes and Beyond Gyne Health is no longer an in-network provider, you may be eligible for a prorated refund of your membership fee. All other membership fees are non-refundable.
If you decide not to participate in the membership program, Beyond Gyne Health will assist you in identifying another qualified healthcare provider and will facilitate the transfer of your medical records to ensure continuity of care.
If you choose to leave Beyond Gyne Health, we will gladly transfer your medical records to your new healthcare provider upon your written authorization. There is a $25 fee for sending your records to another physician as part of your continuity of care.
No. Memberships are individual and non-transferable.
Yes. Beyond Gyne Health will continue to care for patients who are transitioning out of the practice for a three-month transition period ending on December 31, 2026. During this time, the practice will see you if you have an acute medical issue, continue to provide appropriate prescription refills, communicate test results, and assist with the transfer of medical records to support a smooth transition to a new healthcare provider.
